On behalf of the organizing committee of this Workshop of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Thimbirigasyaya.
I wish to thank the Rt. Rev Bishop Duleep de Chickera for spending time with us to prepare for this very successful workshop
and further, for clearing his busy schedule to be with us today. We thank you Bishop for your enthusiastic support and
involvement in the setting up of this workshop and also for your advice and suggestions regarding the content of the Workshop today.
We have all benefited immensely from the talks & (discussions and suggestions) and the activity and the fellowship.
As a result of this workshop we are taking with us new ideas and thoughts to practice in our homes so that our children will be
happier , healthier and productive , ________citizens of this our beloved land.
We thank Aunty Nalini and Deepika for the ground -work done to make this workshop a reality.
On a more personal note - more than 2 yrs ago ,I mentioned at our AGM's that this was one area our Church needed to address.
So to see it become a reality is indeed an achievement.
We thank (Das....who and who.......)all of those who have worked behind the scenes to bring you, parents to this workshop,
and to prepare the refreshments and clean and arrange the hall to suit our
requirements.(hall must be arranged in a semi circle).
Please take this opportunity to talk to Bishop further, if time permits him to do so and feel free to mingle
and chat ,
We do hope you are going home with your expectations met and motivated to put into action all the ideas you've gathered .
